2020 CAL TRI EVENTS LA - 10.03.20. Come celebrate the 6th year race anniversary and where Cal Tri Events all started. The Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, located in Irwindale, is an 836-acre multi-use facility with the park's main feature being a 70-acre lake with boat rentals, fishing, a swimming beach, hiking trails, cycling trails, and California native plants and chaparral habitat conservation areas. Late October is a great time to put your fitness to the test with average air temperatures of 60-75 and average water temperatures of 68-70.
INDIVIDUALIZE YOUR RACE. There are 16 race options this year including up to 6 options at each distance. Choice is a good thing!

Olympic = Olympic + Olympic Relay + Olympic SwimBike + Olympic SwimRun + Olympic Swim + 10K
Sprint = Sprint + Sprint Relay + Sprint SwimBike + Sprint SwimRun + Sprint Swim + 5K
AWARDS (TOP 3 OA MALE & FEMALE). 96 awards are given to the top 3 overall finishers, both male and female, in each event. There are no age group awards due to the number of events and the amount of time required to distribute them. Athletes will earn points in the 2020 Grand Prix USA standings which will be tallied by the end of the year.
